Job description

As a six-time Best of State award winner, Kids On The Move provides services throughout Utah to children with special needs and their families. Our mission is to support the development of young children through five key programs: Early Intervention, Early Head Start, the KOTM Autism Center, KOTM Respite Care, and KOTM Child Care Center.

Kids On The Move is seeking a Finance Assistant to operate under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for processing accounts payable/receivable for a fast-paced growing non-profit organization.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

* Prepare invoices and post payments to customer accounts
* Enter and pay bills from vendors
* Reconcile credit card statements
* Understand and capable of working with the following software programs:
* QuickBooks
* Microsoft Excel
* Other related software associated with accounting and bookkeeping

* File, as needed
* Update computer records
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Two year degree in accounting or working on four year degree.
* Some related experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

* Sitting for long periods of time at a desk and in meetings
* See and hear with or without an aid
