We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team. In this exciting role, you will work with subject matter experts and design architects to map data elements, analyze data from new sources, create data definitions, and support migrating data to modern data architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the design, construction, QA, and/or implementation phases of the project
• Gather requirements from stakeholders including business subject matter experts and IT teams
• Document data migration requirements, including source system analysis and source to target
• Analyzes & acquires data from primary and secondary data sources to create mapping specifications for use by ETL development resources
• Assist in creation of test cases with QA testing team and business.
• Work with the development team to handover the detailed data layer mapping for coding
• Lead and drive the creation and execution of technical solutions
• Compile and document system processes and specifications
• Communicate and facilitate clearly with stakeholders and business owners
• Champion ideas and sell them to others
• Work independently in a team environment to complete needed jobs. May lead a project team
• Take ownership of issues through resolution including close coordination between various teams
• Create modelling techniques and methods

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or related field
• Requires some experience in business analysis, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, processes, application, etc. or other directly related experience
• Experience querying and analyzing large data sets using Microsoft SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis programs
• Requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Some banking knowledge preferred
• Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and employees
• Highly motivated individual and a self-starter
• Able to prioritize and manage time effectively

Pay Range: $55,000-$80,000

Location: Ideally Salt Lake City, UT, but open to remote work outside of Utah
