Job description
Who we are:
At Ragnar, we have built a premiere series of road and trail running adventures. While we are excited about the progress we've made over the past 17 years, we feel like we are just scratching the surface. We want to change how folks spend their weekend and infuse adventure into their everyday life.
We have built a coast-to-coast relay series, our own technology platform, dabbled in virtual events and partnered with some amazing brands along the way. Here at Ragnar, we are a passionate and scrappy team coming together from a wide range of backgrounds to solve incredibly complex problems and deliver amazing experiences.
We need a Field Operation Coordinator to join our team. This position will work directly with our Race Directors and Operations teams to ensure a logistically sound event and great runner experience. The Field Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the inventory and restocking of the Ragnar Trailers, coordinating pallet shipping, restock purchasing, handling equipment rentals across Ragnar's formats, scheduling repairs and maintenance on Ragnar equipment, as well as acting as an on-call representative during some race weekends.
Who you are:
You are an adaptable, forward thinker, who knows that no matter how early you finished your planning or finalized all the details of an event, unexpected things always seem to find their way to the surface and when things do go awry, you can think on the fly, make sound decisions, and act quickly to get things back on course. Your organizational skills are off the charts and somehow your brain is able to see the big picture simultaneously with all the crucial details.? You know how to juggle (not literally, but if you do that's awesome). You enjoy finding the most efficient practices and implementing standard operating procedures (SOP's)

- Race day - volunteer management
- Supply ordering / purchasing
- Shipping and Receiving equipment and race materials
- Coordinate orders between departments and race/Ragnar distribution center
- Assist in the management of Road Crew
- Work weekends and long hours during races
Travel Requirement:
- First year of employment, anticipate up to 25-30% travel. As systems are learned, anticipate 20% travel expected yearly
