We are looking for a talented Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team and manage the first stage of our recruiting process. We are looking to hire a skilled Technical Sourcer to source, build, and nurture candidate pipelines for specialized technical IT and IS positions. In this role, you will source and interact with potential candidates online, develop talent pipelines, conduct initial candidate screenings, and set up interviews. You may also be required to manage the candidate database and build a talent pool for future opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to help us build our sourcing capabilities and craft the sourcer role and position as we build out our sourcing team.
To ensure success as a technical sourcer, you should have detailed knowledge of modern sourcing techniques, excellent communication skills, and good interviewing skills. A skilled technical sourcer will be able to source the perfect candidate for positions that are often hard to fill. Talent Sourcer responsibilities will include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates, and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on social media, and enjoy learning about different roles, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will proactively identify our hiring needs and help us fill our openings.
Responsibilities
* Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack and Github)
* Collaborate with Recruiters and recruiting team to share candidates
* Craft and send engaging recruiting emails in line with our company brand
* Coordinate with hiring managers and recruiters to determine position requirements
* Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, identify unique sites or networking groups, search Github)
* Establish detailed and creative Sourcing Strategies, crafting complex Boolean strings, and using advanced search operators for X-Ray searches
* Utilize tools and scraping techniques to contact hard to reach candidates
* Build, develop and maintain long term talent pools and pipelines for recruiters for current and future hiring needs
* Promote our employer brand online and offline
* Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
* Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
* Provide strategic advice and research to hiring managers and recruiting partners around: Talent market analysis, Talent pooling, Screening feedback, Longlisting, Shortlisting
* Build a deep understanding of where talent is/shifting to, industry trends, market trends, etc.
* Interview and cover the initial screening of candidates and selling our story
Skills and Requirements
* Proven work experience as a Technical Sourcer or similar role
* At least 1-2 years of professional IT technical or software recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience in a corporate or agency environment
* Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
* Able to use a diverse range of techniques for Candidate Identification and Engagement
* Comfortable running advanced searches in social media platforms and sites outside of LinkedIn (GitHub, StackOverflow, email scraping, etc.)
* Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
* Effective time-management abilities
* Experience with online and offline recruiting techniques
* Familiarity with social media marketing and digital networking, assist with recruitment marketing efforts across the company with social media, job descriptions, etc.
* Ability to conduct online and offline interviews
* Previous experience recruiting hard-to-fill or technical roles, a plus
* Attend and travel to local and regional industry networking events, meet-ups, conferences, and trade shows to increase our presence in the local community
* Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives
* Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to Cprime's growth
