You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building, testing, deploying, monitoring and supporting mission critical systems. You'll face and solve a wide range of challenges: technical, product, and operational, shaping your personal growth and career along the way.

- Collaborating and representing engineering with executive stakeholders in product marketing, operations, business, legal, and compliance
- Working in a fast-moving, highly-collaborative environment across multiple offices
- Mentoring more junior members of the team and helping foster a learning environment within the team
- Driving the team strategy and technical direction, demonstrating efficient solutions and sustainable development practices for the entire team
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a technical field, but we understand great engineers come from all sorts of different backgrounds and also consider relevant work experience
- 6+ years programming experience on a modern stack.
- 2+ years as a technical lead
- Our core stack is React / Java / Spring / PostgreSQL. Expertise with multiple modern Javascript frameworks, and/or REST APIs and relational databases is a must.
- Experience with microservice architecture and launching cloud-based services.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
- Strong sense of responsibility; driving multiple projects from inception to completion
- Affinity for solving problems and diving deep into the details
- Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests
- Expertise with Agile methodologies as well as software testing: unit, integration, and end-to-end
- Deep understanding of scalable and resilient architectures and design patterns
- A passion for pushing CI/CD to its limits
- Full-stack engineering experience, or a willingness and passion to broaden your technical skill set
- Expertise with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, React, AWS, Kotlin.
- Fintech/finance experience
- A passion for well-tested code and utilizing testing frameworks
- GraphQL experience
- Masters' degree in a relevant technical field
