Job description
Administrative Assistant Job Summary:
Our growing agency is currently seeking an individual to fill our Administrative Assistant role. The Assistant will be professional, upbeat, energetic, willing to take initiative, able to multi-task, be dependable and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. This position will support the Backpack and Substitute Care programs administrative needs and will require an individual with flexibility who can collaborate with staff members from both departments on various projects.
This position reports to the Backpack Program Director and Substitute Care Program Manager. They assist program staff with administrative duties. This position will provide support for the ongoing needs of both departments. This person must be adaptable to the needs of the programs. The individual will be required to operate a variety of office machines, establish, and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, and the public. The Administrative Assistant must be proficient in various methods of communication, demonstrate strong planning, organization, and technology skills.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications and Education Requirements:
·High School diploma or GED; one or more years of experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·Must be familiar and proficient with the Microsoft Office 365 platform (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, and PowerPoint).
Work requires an ability to establish priorities and meeting deadlines.
Administrative Assistant Special Position Requirements:
This position would be trained as a UEMR Superuser to provide technical support and assistance to staff members accessing the system.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
Administrative Assistant Work/Physical Requirements:
This position primarily requires the ability to sit at a desk and perform administrative work. It requires the ability to sit, stand, squat, reach, the use of a telephone and large amount of keyboarding and screen work. The position will require the ability to travel between agency locations, and on occasion may require lifting up to 25 pounds.
