Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is looking for a Simulation and Life Support Technician to join our outstanding team. Working with the Central Educator the Simulation and Life Support Technician is responsible for managing an effective simulation and life support program. This includes learning the simulation equipment; being able to plan, set-up, complete, and clean up simulation education; and being able to assist in managing the life support classes. It will involve creating clearly written standardized systems; assessing the educational needs of staff; managing the scheduling, coordination, and communication and maintaining accurate and organized records. To succeed in this role you must have a working understanding of the electronic education systems, be organized and able to self-manage time and proficiency and have the ability to self-teach and then turn the knowledge into a working system. The individual must have strong problem-solving, prioritization, communication, and time management skills.
