The credit union aims to enrich our loan-servicing capabilities on our digital banking properties, web and mobile - capabilities that enable our cardholders to see and understand their spending more clearly, makes it easier to navigate critical moments when they need their online banking.

In collaboration with the Vice President, Digital Consumer Banking, this role will define the required integration of the card servicing solution within our digital banking platform, including the non-functional requirements that impact the entire digital business model (e.g., product innovation, release management, hosting operation, member support, etc.). He/she will develop the strategy and roadmap for member rollout and facilitate the definition, design, implementation of such an integration. This role will serve as a member-experience advocate in our Web and Mobile Banking products. He/She will be accountable for the quality, delivery, and most important, member satisfaction with our digital banking experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

•Collaborate closely with the multiple (LOB) Product team, External Vendor(s), User Interface Design, Technology, and Marketing to deeply understand business priorities and member needs to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. Gain alignment and buy-in for roadmap feature and functionality enhancements.

•Partner with control functions such as Legal, Risk, and Compliance/BSA/AML to ensure journey adheres to all legal and compliance requirements.

•Deliver customer value iteratively, managing the digital banking experiences through various launch phases and follow-on releases, by owning the backlog of enhancements and determining the right feature to deploy at the right time - based on need, feasibility, budget, capacity, and Digital Member Experience Roadmap - and take responsibility for devising and executing the delivery plan.

•Provide industry experience to solve complex digital challenges and makes strategic decisions to achieve program goals

•Manages large project delivery schedules and key aspects of product development with coordination with other stakeholders in the credit union.

•Anticipates changes within the consumer (retail) digital banking space and recommend solutions/enhancements for future web/mobile optimizations

•Author and curate the collateral content, FAQs, presentations, white papers, or blogs that package the cards-related experience(s) on our digital banking platforms and share expertise to Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Executive Team

•Develop presentations and communications for leadership across the organization (including the executive staff) on key product enhancements

•Create the position spec(s) for the required staff-add(s); participate in candidate interviews. Mentor new hire(s) into their roles.

Qualifications

•10+ years of experience as a product manager managing digital banking experiences.

•Demonstrate a strong understanding overall understanding of mobile and online.

•Experience developing software or products designed for a digitally savvy consumer- a deep understanding of banking products and banking customer interactions.

•Customer-centric mindset - passionate about driving customer experience and satisfaction.

•Track record of shipping (success and failures, alike) -- and have a history of driving customer and business impact.

•Knowledge of digital banking trends, partner ecosystems, and competitive strategies.

•Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, strategic vision, and commitment to owning products from ideation to post-launch.

•Ability to go deep on tech trends, architectural questions, stack control points, roadmaps, and influence dev-cycles.

•Be comfortable with digital strategy, portfolio prioritization, go-to-market, tracking KPIs.

•Knowledge of emerging technologies and partners that could accelerate our progress in digital banking.

•User-Centered Design and Usability expertise

•Working experience as a successful Agile Product Owner in digital. In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, experience with JIRA / Confluence / Roadmunk.

•Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

•Strong analytics, strategic and innovative thinking, and customer empathy.

•Effective teamwork and team-building skills.

•Proven ability to interact and influence management

•High level of intellectual curiosity and are comfortable with ambiguity.

•Well organized, able to multi-task, able to prioritize with minimal direction

•Can collaboratively drive teams and stakeholders with disparate goals.

•Communication skills, be able to present to executive management often and in a compelling manner that emphasizes the important intersection of business and technology.
