If so, Freddie Mac might be the employer for you! We are looking for a Multifamily Asset Management Manager to join the Structured Transactions group. This group falls within Special Servicing and handles asset management related functions (mostly consents) for our most complex portfolio and securitized assets, including bond transactions, revolving lines of credit and LIHTC. These transactions represent a significant commitment to some of Freddie Mac's most meaningful corporate affordability objectives.Our Impact:Our team is responsible for asset management coverage (mostly consents) of all structured loan products, balance sheet loans and LIHTC investments.We respond to internal and external requests pertaining to existing loans across many product lines.We seek to maintain high credit quality while looking for win-win solutions to a variety of requests on existing loans, structured deals and LIHTC investments.Your Impact:Manage a team and exercise delegated approval authority for complex transactions (primarily credit facilities) on requests such as: loan assumptions, collateral substitutions, and other industry standard performing loan requestsCollaborate with the Structured Transaction Director and manage initiatives for the teamOversee the review of financial and property operating informationAssist with loan compliance efforts for given deal securitizationsProvide superior customer service while managing a large volume of requests in a timely mannerCommunicate effectively with Servicers and internal partnersQualifications:Typically has 8-10+ years of related experience. 2+ years management experience.Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to efficiently manage large volumes of requests with measurable deadlines and be a flexible teammateExperience building and maintaining positive relationships with internal partners and external customersStrong underwriting/credit experience with a practical understanding of loan, bond, regulatory, and servicing agreementsLIHTC experience is a plusKeys to Success in this Role:Strong leadership skills, great teammate, and thorough understanding of asset managementInterest in continuing to develop asset management skills; passionate about a variety of complex financing structures or unstabilized assetsStrong verbal and written communication skills; with strong interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize and be proactive; must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail such as complex legal documentsAbility to collaborate and find effective solutions with internal (U/W, Legal, Production, Capital Markets) and external partners (Servicers, DCHs)Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
