Our Mission-Focused Packers are the front-line troops at Two Marines Moving. They're at the "tip of the spear," running, gunning, and making moves happen. Packers are the face of The Company representing our brand and our team. Clients trust our Designated Packing Teams to protect their cherished belongings, ensure that everything is correctly labeled, and assist in facilitating a successful move. Our Packers are the ground-pounders that provide the muscles to complete the client experience to ensure mission accomplishment.

Mission-Focused Packers are thoroughly trained to pack customers' possessions into boxes and assist them before and after a move to ensure nothing gets lost or damaged during the transition. They ensure that all customers' items are wrapped and stored properly for their move.

A typical day out in the field is between 5-10 hours of lifting, carrying, and moving with a purpose. Make money while getting stronger. Expectations of a Motivated Packer:

• Integrity
• Physical Strength and Physical Stamina. Packers should be able to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.

• Dependability: Ability to follow simple instructions, abide by our Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operate under our "Commander's Intent" in the absence of direct orders.

Typical Motivated Packer Employment Categories:

• Full-Time: (35-50 hours per week) Our full time entry level packers average approximately $40,000 per year. Overtime can push that figure above $50,000 per year.
• Part-Time: Tailored to prior service using their GI BILL & ROTC students with flexible scheduling requirements around classes (10-35 hours per week)
• Weekend Warriors: Tailored for those on Active Duty or those who have Full-Time Monday through Friday jobs elsewhere (8-20 hours per weekend). Earn an extra $120 - $400 per weekend!
• Transitional/ Temporary: Tailored as temporary employment for a few weeks to a few months for those exiting the military, reentering the workforce, or changing careers. Make $600 - $1,000 per week!

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• Military affiliation preferred but not required. Bring your Military ID or DD-214 to your interview to receive additional pay based on your current or last rank held in the military! Those with a dishonorable or bad conduct discharge need not apply.
• Driver's License preferred but not required
• Athletic background (high school, college, or professional) preferred but not required
• Pass our background check: Larceny, shoplifting, criminal trespass, and burglary are a definite no go at Two Marines Moving. Minor non-larceny related incidents will be considered on a case by case basis.

About Two Marines Moving

TMM provides Award-Winning moving services to residents around the entire Washington D.C. Metro area. Services include local moving, long distance moving, packing, and storage. The Company was founded by Marine and combat veteran, Nicholas Baucom, in order to provide job and career opportunities for other veterans. The Company has successfully completed 50,000+ local and long distance moving missions during the course of the last 13 years. Two Marines Moving has been recognized by the Department of Labor, Department of Veteran Affairs, the Washington Post, INC Magazine, Forbes Magazine, the White House, and more for our efforts in hiring, training, and employing America's heroes.

Compensation

Starting Total Effective Pay Rate: $15 - $20 an hour. Total effective pay is comprised of a base hourly rate by position, gratuity from our clients, bonuses, and incentive pay . You earn more money with additional responsibilities such as driving, team leading moves, obtaining certifications, etc.

Crew Member/Driver: $15 - $20 an hour effective pay
Team Leader/Driver: $18 - $23 an hour effective pay
Crew Chief/Driver: $20-$25 an hour effective pay
