Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interact and coordinate on behalf of Federal clients and interagency government stakeholders.

• Manage small to medium-sized projects/initiatives from end-to-end, including requirements gathering, client coordination, content development, peer review/quality assurance, and deliverable development and presentation.

• Elicit and analyze external and internal customer requirements using interviews, process and document analysis, task and workflow analysis, and other techniques as appropriate, to identify new solutions, processes, and process improvements to meet customer business needs.

• Independently manage complex taskers and initiatives from end-to-end, sometimes involving highly technical subject matter.

• Assist in organizing and leading client meetings (e.g., scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action items).

• Manage multiple assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products.

• Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Client and Project Description:

An Agile Senior Business Analyst must have experience working within an Agile Software Development Life Cycle Project. This includes experience creating user stories within JIRA, involvement in Scrum events, and working sprints applying the scrum framework. The candidate must have experience facilitating meetings, gathering requirements and acceptance criteria, working with complicated and challenging stakeholders, and creating and managing user guides and iterative Sprint documentation.

Mandatory Experience:

- A minimum of five years working with clients to improve their business systems and processes

- Experience using JIRA to manage Sprints and the Product Backlog by building out complex user stories and eliciting requirements with stakeholders

- History of facilitating meetings with stakeholders at various levels

- Strong understanding of complicated systems

- Knowledge and understanding of Scrum events, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Planning Poker, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

- Demonstrate proficiency with DevOps tools, JIRA, ServiceNow, MS Teams and perform tasks using the tools including capturing project plans.

- Ability to understand and adapt to changing client needs and product enhancements

Preferred Experience:

- Previous Scrum Master experience or certification (CSM, etc)

- Veterans Affairs or Healthcare experience

- PIV Card & Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
