Responsibilities:
NCI: As an Asset Management Technician II, you will oversee and coordinate the administration of the receipt and disposal of physical assets at all locations supporting organizational staff members within the Joint Service Provider (JSP) user community, and you will interact daily with the customer to ensure productivity and provide resolution to property management issues. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
Performs government property administration and accounting duties requiring experience and knowledge in government property administration practices
Develops procedures for receipt and issue of materials and equipment
Prepares a variety of government-required reports and represents company during audits
Validates content and sufficiency of the data within the asset system
Performs and oversees reconciliation of all inventories
Evaluates quality of each inventory performed to include overage and shortage discrepancies
Assures resolution of inventory discrepancies while insuring accountability of all government assets
Prepares all reports, including final inventory or periodic status reports for higher authority
Acts as the Subject Matter Expert on the FAR Government Property requirements
Updates and adjusts policy and procedures based on FAR requirement changes
Communicates, educates, and trains employees on the company's policies and procedures of company and government asset management
Manages and supports all government property audits
Manages an inventory verification compliance inspection program
Administers the property asset management application
Provides briefings to senior leaders, agency directors, and facility and financial program teams
Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested, while implementing planning/organizing skills and working under deadlines
Qualifications:
Requirements:
US Department of Defense (DOD) issued Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years equivalent related experience
A minimum of two (2) years experience in managing government property
Physical Requirements:
