Position: Systems Engineer (junior - senior level)

Duration: 11 month contract to hire

Location: Herndon, Crystal City, or Seattle

Shift: Hours are flexible (you set your own schedule), but need to be onsite for all 40 hours (working with West coast teams quite a bit)

Interview Process: Two 30 minute virtual interviews

Start: 2 weeks from offer

Clearance: FSP or CI Poly

Must Haves:

2+ years of experience within System Engineering

Experience deploying cloud deployment stacks

Experience with any or all: S3, EC2, Storage (EBS), CodeDeploy, and any other cloudplatform related technologies, Ansible,

2 years of experience with any Linux variant

Experience deploying or managing servers in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.

Understanding & experience of managing and monitoring large scale sub-systems.

Operational knowledge of common enterprise switching and routing platforms

Plusses:

Knowledge of a scripting language like Python, Perl, or Bash

Knowledge of VCS (git, mercurial, svn).
