Job Description

  • The Corporate Development and M&A Manager will work closely with the Vice President, Corporate Development and M&A to help drive growth opportunities and shape the ESA business portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to help analyze, assess and execute high profile corporate growth priorities related to all aspects of corporate M&A and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs market reviews for relevant growth opportunities, including acquisition candidates.
  • Assists in preparation of investment proposals, recommends financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implements and maintains strategic and plans.
  • Performs financial and valuation analysis
  • Coordinates due diligence efforts with cross functional leaders and advisors both internally and externally
  • Works with internal and external counsel in preparation of legal documentation related to transactions and projects
  • Assists with transaction post-merger integration planning
  • Ensures quality of all processes related to M&A and corporate development (alliances and JVs) including: identification, valuation, negotiation, due diligence and post-merger integration
  • Provides support and guidance as required to other corporate business transactions as they arise
  • Helps identify appropriate additions/deletions to portfolio to ensure appropriate balance of risk, reward and growth
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Master's Degree Preferred. 3-5 years' experience may substitute.

Specific Degree Field: Business

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):

  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions transactions
  • Financial/accounting and investment analytical skills
  • Performing valuation methodologies
  • Ability to perform company and market research & analysis
  • Presentation and communication skills
