Job description
Seeking: Inventory Capture & Logistics Receiver
Location: onsite in Ashburn VA 20147
Contract on W2
Receive assets, including:
* Handling order delivery and acceptance, including visually inspecting carton for damage and reconciliation of shipment with shipment documentation (bill of lading)
* Validating contents against packing slip and order completion
* Notification of receipt and corresponding updates
* Notification of discrepancies, if any
* Assure asset tags, markings and labels are affixed to assets.
* Complete updates to asset data repository
* Safeguard assets to include:
* Site preparation and access control of stockroom/depot area
* Storing, organizing and tracking inventory
* Coordinate Site transportation
* Ship assets, including:
* Handling of the shipping request
* Preparation, coordination and tracking of shipment
* Disposal of assets
* Update asset data repository
* Conduct regularly scheduled storage/cage inventory and assist with reconciliation of data in asset repository
* Assist/perform annual and periodic inventory and assist with reconciliation of data
* Travel to assigned locations to perform inventory, audits or other duties as needed
* Assist with asset inquiries
* Assist with asset retirements
* Accurate maintenance of all required logs.
* Escorting of CEs and other visitors
* Comply with customer and site regulations
* Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams.
* Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
* Work may require in excess of a regular full-time work week including nights and weekends to perform the essential duties of the job.
Additional Duties as required:
* Wipe all data from the hard drives of desktops or laptops which are no longer in use and are planned for disposal.
* Organize and maintain order in the area designated for quarantined parts.
* Process RMA requests working with asset manufacturers.
* Functions expected include: walking or standing for extended periods of time (possibly entire shift) and lifting up to 50 pounds, significant walking
* Maintain physical appearance of site.
* Knowledge, understanding and adherence to Exela policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, fast paced environment.
* Take direction from Service Delivery Manager and Team Leads as required.
* Participate in company training and site cross-training as appropriate.
* Maintain workspace and related equipment to provide visitors with a business environment, which is efficient, organized and safe.
* Produce Inventory and Measurements Reporting to include monthly touch reports
When Necessary:
* Assist in other site duties when needed
Experience:
* Minimum of 12 months customer service related experience preferred.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a related functional area preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
* Computer skills a must email, Microsoft Office, instant messaging and multiple inventory software programs will be used on a daily basis.
* Able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with clients and company personnel.
* Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills for a challenging and customer focused working environment.
* Planning and organization skills.
* Excellent attendance.
* Customer service, people oriented. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
* Able to effectively work independently or in a team environment.
