Job Description
- Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.
- Performs clerical and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
- Receive, barcode, inventory and disposition assigned equipment
- Update tracking/management database with asset information
- Move equipment between facilities via pallet jack or pushcart
- Maintain consumable stock levels - complete equipment reorders as required
- Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times
- Participates in special projects as required.
Qualifications
- BA/BS, 8+ years experience related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Hands-on logistics analyst and technician to be part of a team of logistics professionals focused on supporting the customer's mission at the largest site in the customer's enterprise
- Ready for full days, fast pace, and a variety of skill sets used throughout the week
- Perform the full spectrum of duties associated with shipping/receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments and database maintenance
Additional Job Description
- Must be able to lift, carry, and load equipment/material weighing up to 50 pounds, onto shelves, pallets, and box trucks for transport.Regularly required to stand, walk, and occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to access IT equipment in and around office furniture, as part of annual inventory is required
- Perform both manual labor associated with (among other duties) palletizing/de-palletizing equipment plus above average skills with office computers and applications.
- Able to account for annual inventory of thousands of accountable items, working with security and government logistics managers for disposition
- Assist other work centers to identify and satisfy their logistics requirements
- Must have MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills. Proficient in creating, modifying, and organizing spreadsheets with large line items
- Attention to detail and ability to track multiple logistics tasking through established and evolving policy a must.
- Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must holda TS/SCI with Polygraph.
