Ready to join a dynamic team and make a difference with a fanatical focus on Happy Employees? We are looking for a dynamic HR Manager to join our fast-growing Global Diagnostics team at POREX!

Impact and Opportunity

The HR Manager will play a critical role in leading all people related initiatives for the Diagnostics team. A true liaison and thought partner both within the Global HR leadership team and within the Diagnostics Leadership team. The work that will be done is cross-functional within the Diagnostics segment and critical to the success of various teams and stakeholders within the business. A true, culture champion and advocate for living the company's values around "Trust, Bias for Action and Entrepreneurial"

You'll be doing some amazing work in the space of delivering on "Happy People" which in turn delivers on our goal for "Happy Customers" and "Beating the Budget" and our mission for a for a "safer, healthier and more productive world"

The ideal candidate will have an ability to think and execute strategically with a strong focus on employee engagement. If you have strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly, with a desire to work for a fast-paced organization, exceptional leadership and a "roll-up your sleeves" bias for action attitude - we are your team to check out.

Key Deliverables:

* Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
* Support the VP and MD for Diagnostics to create and optimize all facets of our team members workplace lifecycle experience.
* Support company and segment goals and objectives (KPI's, Scorecards and individual goals)
* Attends and participates in team member coaching sessions, disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
* Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
* Supports business partners and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, communicating and enforcing organization values.

Qualifications

* In depth knowledge of HR best practices and the systems that support them.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain a wide range of multi-site relationships at all levels of the organization utilizing influence, communication, facilitation, and presentation to effectively define and manage positive change.
* Proactive/self-starter, high energy, growth mindset.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed and often ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities.
* Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating successfully with global teams to deliver impactful work and timely results.
* A very good understanding of financial management and Human Resources impact on results.
* Problem solver able to consistently think strategically, with a bias to action, and uphold our high ethical standards.
* Fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
* Certification for PHR, SPHR or GPHR is preferred.
* 5+ years of Human Resources experience
* Manufacturing experience preferred.
* Union experience a plus.
