We are searching for an experienced Corporate Recruiter at our Middletown, RI location.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Corporate Recruiter has responsibility to understand the holistic talent needs of the organization, seeking clarity from and providing guidance to business partners, ensuring recruiting goals are defined, appropriately resourced and ultimately achieved, and ensuring that internal talent is skillfully incorporated into the talent plan.

  • Continuously engage Business Area Managers and all hiring managers to build a knowledge of the business, understand talent needs, advise on process, recommend candidate actions, provide guidance on compliance, assist in interviewing, candidate selection and offer development, as well as to coordinate an efficient onboarding that facilitates an effective assimilation of talent into the organization.
  • Manage personal relationships with all external points of contact within SEACORP's candidate pipelines. Develop and strengthen new talent pipeline options. Quickly and effectively stand up new pipelines of talent as the geographic or functional needs of the business evolve.
  • Provide high quality, consistent customer service to candidates, employees, internal business partners, external contacts, and SEACORP leadership.
  • Judiciously select the best vehicles to market SEACORP jobs to ensure SEACORP is attracting a broad set of quality applicants from all facets of the external workforce. Research, engage and maintain connections with passive candidates.
  • Review and maintain written Work Instructions pertaining to recruiting as outlined in SEACORP's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Utilize relevant metrics to assess recruiting efforts, advise managers, and make recommendations that improve recruiting processes and activities.
  • Utilize market data, trends in talent acquisition, regulatory updates and workforce planning to advise on recruiting strategy, compliance, competitive compensation practices, and talent branding.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System to ensure functional optimization; serve as the subject matter expert to internal users.
  • Own the development and maintenance of all SEACORP job description and general labor category information.
  • Prepare and submit all recruiting related compliance reports (e.g. VETS, EEO, etc.).
  • Support all Human Resources and company initiatives, including events, ad hoc projects and programs.

This position requires a strong adherence to established protocols, the ability to manage multiple job requisitions and candidates at varying stages of the recruiting process simultaneously, as well as the ability to build and develop credible, professional relationships with internal business partners, employees, candidates and sourcing points of contact. The Corporate Recruiter represents SEACORP on campus, on base and at other external venues, which requires a confident, articulate and credible individual who firmly believes in the organization, its purpose and its values. The position is tightly integrated into the Human Resources team, which requires continuous engagement with other HR disciplines as well as the staff of the General and Administrative departments. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Positions that have required building strong relationships with internal leaders that used influence to move initiatives forward
  • A history of technical aptitude including using HRIS systems, optimizing applicant tracking systems and using MS Office applications (particularly Excel)
  • Demonstrated understanding of employment laws and OFCCP compliance
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Positions that have required maintaining confidential, sensitive and even classified information

Eligibility Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required, ideally in a business discipline. An aligned professional certification (e.g. PHR/SPHR) is desirable.
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a full life cycle corporate recruiter is required, preferably with significant experience recruiting engineers and developers for multiple, dispersed locations. A broad set of HR functional skills and knowledge is desirable.U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance is required.
