Operator Helper

**Description:**

*Candidate will be monitoring vessels and equipment that pull the moisture out of plastic pellets for the end use of shipping to customers for plastic manufacturing however this role will start as a Helper, supporting the machine operators daily duties.

Candidates will Seal boxes of finished product, load onto pallets, move materials via forklift if they have that experience and Load/unload trailers

*Candidates will then Learn to monitor the process via machine gauges, taking temperature readings, documenting every hour on their log to include moisture readings, and vacuum pump operations.

*Candidate must be able to work inside and outside as their facility is non-climate controlled and heavy industrial however the helper role is predominantly inside

*Candidate must be willing to lift 50 lb bags of raw materials for the small product manufacturing; however their typical role will involve moving materials via forklift and occasionally lifting the bags into the vessel for heating/moisture pulling. Much of their raw materials for vessel runs are hooked up via hoses and pumps to tanker trucks and occasionally rail cars and/or dumped via forklift

*Candidates will learn to monitor the mechanical process as well which would only include using a "wheel" to open vessels at times and occasionally wrenches etc. if small tweaks to the equipment need to be made. Take vacuum readings, clean vessels, test and check for humidity and temperature and document all findings.

*Candidates must be flexible for entry level tasks in the event someone isn't at work or the candidate is needed elsewhere like in stacking on pallets, shrink wrapping those pallets and moving them via forklift to the Manufacturing area for the Operators.

Candidate will be working around both powdered and liquid chemicals, they could be transporting totes, dumping product into machines, removing jams, and monitoring the chemical process.

*Candidate must be able to track inventory sheets and follow the process for manufacturing and transportation of materials

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

Candidates for these roles will start as Helpers in a contract capacity for the first month; however with great attendance and the interest in becoming an operator, they could then transition into an operator role.

Shift is 7am-3pm Monday through Friday However when they transition, could be on a day shift, rotating schedule as listed below OR possibly on night shift. Currently there are openings on both shifts (See Work environment Section for details)

*Ideal candidates will come from chemical operation however machine operator experience will suffice

*Candidates should have 3-5 years of solid work experience with great attendance records and ability to work in a production environment.

*Candidates must be able to work independently and understand what the next steps are once they are trained.
