Description

We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. This Fairfax, Virginia based Bookkeeper role is being offered as a short-term contractt to hire position. Your responsibilities in this role

- Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping

- Support quality archived records by filing documents

- Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

- Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries

- Manage and review general ledger

Requirements - Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Experience using accounting software
