Northrop Grumman's corporate Government Compliance, Budgeting & Forward Pricing team is seeking a government compliance analyst to support our team in areas of compliance of FAR, DFARS and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This position reports to the Manager of Government Compliance and the successful candidate should possess an understanding of FAR/CAS compliance and possess the instincts, drive and judgement to interface with Government auditors and other senior leaders across the company and audit community.
Interprets federal and state and/or international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes, practices and procedures. Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that regulatory reporting requirements are met. Investigates and resolves compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc. May develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies. May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations.
Specific responsibilities include:
Performs unallowable cost scrubs to identify transactions that should be excluded from the Corporate Incurred Cost Submission
Monitors changes to FAR/DFAR/CAS & Other pertinent regulations
Performs research on Government regulations that can be used to draft compliance guidance and for training
Supports internal assessments of ours DFARS Business Systems
Review of Cost Accounting Practice changes to ensure compliance
Support periodic reviews of Disclosure Statements to ensure adequacy and compliance
Support DCAA audits of Disclosure Statements, Cost Impacts, Business Systems & Other compliance Areas
Provides training in the areas of FAR/DFARS/CAS/Business Systems
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' of directly applicable experience; or a Master's degree with 4 years experience
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS regulations
Experience with MS office suite
Experience working with DCAA auditors and understanding of the Defense Contract Audit Manual
Working knowledge compliance with DFARS Business Systems
SAP experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Reg Compliance experience is a plus
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
Significant Experience Working Supporting DCAA Audits.
Salary Range: 83600 - 125400
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
