Job Description
Under the direction of the Human Resource Business Partner, the Human Resources Representative manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Representative manages the administration of the human resource policies, procedures and programs.
Incumbent will assist and advise company leaders and team members about Human Resource issues. The Human Resources Representative leads and coordinates Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes safety, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Responsibilities
The Human Resources Representative is responsible for all or part of these areas:
• recruiting and staffing logistics; university relations
• performance management;
• organization development;
• talent and succession planning processes;
• employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting;
• employee orientation, development, and training; off-boarding;
• employee relations;
• site-wide committee facilitation;
• employee communications;
• benefit inquiries;
• employee services and counseling.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field required (Master's preferred) or equivalent HR experience.
• Representative experience preferred
• PHR certification preferred
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate HR knowledge into valuable recommendations and solutions
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
