Job description
Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group is seeking a skilled, energetic and driven candidate to support the hiring of Cyber Security candidates in the DC metro area for our client. The ideal candidate will handle the end-to-end recruitment life cycle and partner with hiring teams on a seamless hiring experience. The successful candidate will be closely aligned to a specific business unit to understand their hiring needs and develop appropriate sourcing and attraction strategies. Additionally, provide guidance on all aspects of the hiring and selection process, as well as ensure an excellent candidate and new hire experience.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a business partner and advisor to the business units' leadership team, requiring a thorough understanding of the business units' work, strategic goals, and challenges related to attraction, sourcing, and hiring talent
- Ensures an inclusive interview process and unbiased selection for all positions under their scope of responsibility
- Executes and tracks their business units' recruitment strategy and ensures timely delivery against hiring targets
- Leverages sourcing tools, events, marketing, academic partnerships, and social opportunities to drive candidate engagement, sourcing, and talent pipelines
- Holds stakeholders accountable for the interview and hiring process, as well as OFCCP compliance
- Builds relationships and communicates consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants are well informed
- Provides market data on supply, demand, marketing/job posting performance, pipeline strength and sourcing bottlenecks
- Actively sources against their open requisitions using online tools
- Participates in student, diversity, and talent events to turn prospects from those events into leads/applicants
- Communicates at the line level on business process changes or change management efforts when necessary
- Acts as a Brand Ambassador in all areas of their role (internally, externally, and online)
- Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent in combined education and experience)
- 5-7 years of Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience
- 3+ years' experience sourcing (Big plus if you have experience finding in-demand technical and cleared talent)
- Experience managing and prioritizing high volume requisition loads
- Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at engaging and serving as a consultant to all levels of management and leadership
- High emotional intelligence
- Experience with ATS and HCM systems required, preference for Workday experience
- Professional services, technology, and/or government contractor industry experience highly preferred (Cyber security recruiting BIG bonus)
