Agilent is currently looking for anexperiencedsales/business development professional to join the Global Sales Development team in Molecular Spectroscopy.

The successful candidatewill ideally be located within easy of reach of the I95 Pharma corridor on the East Coast of the United States.

The global sales development team is focused on selling our value-added Raman and FTIRsolutions.Thisis achieved through establishing strategic relationships with the industry and within the Agilentorganization.It'sthenessential that those who apply can demonstrate a history of sales success, networking, teamwork,and a detailed knowledge of pharmaceutical workflows. Whilst an understanding of analytical instrument techniques is required, specific expertise in molecular spectroscopy is not. The right candidate will come to the role with established relationships withinthe pharmaceutical manufacturing space.

Once onboard you will be expected to contribute to our strategic initiatives and then take a leading role in implementation within the Americas including working closely with Agilents' Strategic Customer Program and Enterprise managers.This role reports to the Head of Global Sales Development for Molecular Spectroscopy. It is anticipated that travel will be required 40% of the time with the occasional requirement to join team meetings in the UK or Australia.The successful candidate will be invited to participate in the Certificate for Strategic Account Manager with SAMA, a training partner to Agilent.

You have honed your knowledge, functional breadth, and technical skills. Qualifications

8+ years of demonstrable commercial success selling 'disruptivetechnologies'inthe pharmaceutical sector.

Experienced in teamwork and team building.

Effective communicator with the ability to influence through a straight-forward style of communication.

Knowledge of molecular spectroscopy techniques preferred but not essential.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical workflows preferred.

Experience working within pharmaceutical manufacturing would be welcome but is not essential.
