Job description
The AIS Federal Account Executive is an essential role in AIS's growth strategy which will be focused on creating the vision and leading the execution of the growth strategy in order to ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining exceptional delivery performance with assigned Accounts. The AIS Federal Account Executive will be accountable for all aspects of delivery to customer of assigned accounts and serve as the AIS escalation point for the resolution of issues. The AIS Federal Account Executive will approve all Account contracts and ensure that AIS Engagement Managers are meeting or exceeding contractual obligations and delivery expectations of engagements along with maintain situational awareness of day-to-day activities on the ground to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvement of delivery services.
The AIS Federal Account Executive will establish and maintain consultative, value-based, trusted-advisor relationships to cultivate leads and harvest opportunities with assigned Account(s). The Account Executive will maintain frequent, routine contact with key account personnel including executives, line of business managers, and personnel within business, IT, program and contract departments. The Account Executive will identify and target key account personnel (potential sponsors and influencers) for potential business development and revenue growth. The Account Executive will maintain a network of teaming and vendor partners, especially our primary partner Microsoft, to expand and diversify service and solution offerings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with Account Executive and Account Manager peers to share ideas, briefings, and demonstrations to generate leads within assigned Accounts.
- Create, update and execute strategic Account Plans to proactively target and grow revenue within assigned Accounts.
- Responsible for working with the Senior Leadership Team, Talent Management, Client Services and Human Resources teams to support staff development including compensation adjustments, focal reviews, training, and performance improvement activities.
- Offset costs with direct revenue generation from a billable role on an AIS team, ideally in a position providing strategic guidance as a trusted advisor.
- Grow overall AIS invoiced revenue and profit.
- Identify strategies and implement tactics to renew and extend revenue generation on existing engagements in assigned Account.
- Identify strategies and implement tactics to establish new revenue streams with the introduction of novel and innovative service and solution offerings in assigned Account.
- Responsible for developing and mentoring team members and preparing employees for career advancement.
Location and Travel Details
This is a remote position with occasional travel once COVID restrictions are lifted.

- Domain experience with the assigned Account's line of business, or experience in the service line AIS is delivering / proposing.
- Experience managing contract and service delivery, including estimating, schedule, budget, profitability, issue resolution, and authoring proposals / statements of work.

Desirable Skills
- Propose investments through the Investment Review Board to generate leads via transformational innovation within assigned Accounts.
- Serve as the Capture Manager on business development-related tasks within assigned Account, including supporting and contributing to proposal activity.
- Report activity as appropriate to the Microsoft Alliance Manager to ensure coordination with Microsoft and proper reporting is achieved for various programs and incentives.
- Ensure Account, Delivery, and Business Development tools and lists on the AIS Intranet to ensure all items are created and updated regularly, following documented standards.
