About the job

Within our US Service and Marine Division, you will be responsible for creating and leading the implementation of Alfa Lavals US business development plan for HVAC service.

In this role, you will be an active member of the Service Sales team and will contribute to the growth of the business. From a daily responsibility standpoint, you will:

  • Clearly defines and adjusts as needed the service offering for the HVAC industry.
  • Actively participates in associations and lobbies relevant to the impact of Alfa Laval products in HVAC applications.
  • In coordination with the Service Channel Development Manager and Energy Capital Sales develops the Distribution way to market for HVAC.
  • Works with the different stakeholders to secure readiness of the organization to execute the business development plan and provide superior customer experience.
  • Develops strong business relationships with key customers and channels.
  • Analyze the market and the competitors to create a market map and customer segmentation and targeting.
  • Create business development plan based on the Sales company strategy and targets.
  • Coordinate and support the division to analyze and prioritize the business opportunities to get the business growth.
  • Maintains a focus on replacement opportunities in the existing installed base.
  • Develops new processes and high value by products.
  • Prioritizes market presence and supports regional sales opportunities.
  • Creates market activities in conjunction with the Demand Generation team.

What you know

You have excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills. You have high energy, a positive attitude and enjoy developing the customer relationship. You have 5 years prior experience in:

  • Business Development, Product Management or Sales
  • Experience in service, heat exchange products and applications, and HVAC or relevant industries (e.g., building energy performance audit, energy district provider, data center) desired.

A bachelors degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Travel up to 50% of the time to be expected
