Job description

The Senior Recruiter will focus on skilled trades, management, professional, engineering, and IT recruitment needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize social media platforms for recruiting
• Evaluate applicants in order to align with client needs
• Conduct pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, contacting and interviewing applicants, running background checks and drug screens
• Assist with onboarding process, which includes new hire paperwork and I-9
• Perform administrative duties as needed which include printing, copying, scanning, and faxing

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• One (1) year of staffing and/or recruiting experience
• Experience and proven success with passive sourcing / passive candidate extraction techniques
• Ability to create online recruiting postings and advertising
• Ability to attend community events
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, candidates, and the general public
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
