ProspectBlue has partnered with a national client seeking to add a Treasury Analyst to their team!
About the Opportunity
As a Treasury Analyst, you will work on a fast-paced Accounting team in a critical role where you will be responsible for ensuring banking transaction are recorded timely and accurately, ensuring banking procedures are efficient to support the company's national operations, and assisting with other accounting and finance duties as needs arise.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Daily cash reporting and reconciliation for all business units/entities to ensure bank activity agrees to underlying operational support.
· Review any bank-initiated error reports and own the corrective actions steps necessary to resolve. Communicate with accounting management and other departments as needed while resolving.
· Deposit checks and process manual dealer refunds while communicating with business partners to ensure customer accounts are updated correctly
· Complete monthly bank reconciliations within the first two business days after month-end
· Evaluate new banking products and services and assist with the implementation of these products and services.
· Provide recommendations on the cash recording and management strategy for a high growth high transaction volume company.
· Assist with month end close process by owning and completing close tasks assigned.
· Support the Accounting and Finance department on additional ad hoc tasks and projects. Such tasks could include entering and coding of vendor bills or preparation of accounting journal entries. Special projects could include participating in a new financial ERP system implementation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree preferably in the Accounting or Finance field
· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the Accounting or Banking and Cash Management (Treasury) field
· Prior experience with Banking platforms and Accounting ERP systems. SunTrust and QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
· Proficient with MS Suite of Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with SQL a plus.
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
· Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of associates and senior leaders across the organization.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced start-up environment.
