Job Summary:
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing applicants for technical and engineering assignments with DIVERSANT clients, negotiating terms of their employment, managing candidates post-hiring, getting industry referrals, contacting client managers, and maintaining relationships with referral sources. The position requires considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all specialized functional needs of each client, an ability to use independent judgment and discretion regarding all aspects of the recruiting process, as well as basic understanding of Company's policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluates and processes job requisitions issued by DIVERSANT clients.
Develops his/her own methods for identifying candidates from a variety of sources and solicits resumes of potential candidates using the techniques required by DIVERSANT, including but not limited to cold calling, social media and networking forums.
Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, and other resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments, checks references, and makes recommendations for hire (or not hire).
Conducts in-depth interviews with potential candidates to evaluate each candidate's work ethic, sincerity, honesty, interpersonal skills, etc. and to assess the candidate's ability to work successfully in the client's environment based on the candidate's particular strengths and weaknesses.
Makes a determination as to whether a candidate would be a good fit for a particular client based on prior experience working with the client.
Coordinates appropriate employment testing.
Conducts employment verifications.
Communicates important employment information during the delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, overtime, non-compete agreements).
Negotiates the compensation package within the budget established by the client as necessary.
Prepares and extends verbal and written offers of employment to both exempt and nonexempt positions within an assigned territory.
Provides training and mentorship to newly hired Recruiters.
Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
Actively manages the placement for the entire assignment with the client.
Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Prior experience in a high volume recruiting environment.
2 plus years of previous experience in staffing industry.
Experience with Applicant Tracking System.
