Job description

DroneUp is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support all aspects of reporting, analysis and provide sales support for the business development team. This role will work within our CRM platform accountable for internal reporting and metrics for DroneUp. The Business Development Analyst will work in coordination with Marketing and Sales teams to develop strategies and align efforts that support new lead generation.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting sales teams and other leadership with key metrics for CRM data including but not limited to deal cycle time, close rate, pipeline overview and sales funnel maintenance.
  • Reporting on key trends in our priority segment verticals, regularly summarizing investment or industry white papers and supporting research queries alongside research partners such as GLG.
  • Standardizing and designing account review formats for Sales Directors with development and analysis of key performance indicators such as flights, ASPs, account revenue.
  • Managing the CRM to ensure pipeline accuracy and timely customer handoff.
  • Providing lead generation activities by prospecting new customers to identify target leads and develop account-based content in tandem with marketing
  • Working with Marketing and Sales teams to develop customized email campaigns and develop targeted social media campaigns
  • Participating in trade show and industry events as required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on analytics or quantitative skills
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Business Develop Analyst, Sales Coordinator, Marketing or Business Development capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization.
  • System-thinking approach that drives to scale in a growing organization
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, with HubSpot or Zoho a plus, although not required
  • Familiarity with Tableau and/or other data management systems
