Job description

Overview:
We are seeking motivated, reliable, mechanically inclined individuals to work as Production Technicians in our Winchester plant. At the moment, our Stretch Blow Molding and our Decoration/Print departments have the highest need.

We offer 12-hour shifts (day and night) and a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. If you have mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and are eager to advance in your career we want to talk to you!

The starting pay for Technicians is $19/hour on Day Shift. Night shift starts at $21/hour. After an individual completes their training period, they receive a skill and salary review.

Responsibilities:

Know and follow all safety rules and utilize proper PPE at all times.

Start and stop machines safely.

Check materials for jobs such as colorant.

Adjust bottle specifications for jobs.

Change tooling for jobs.

Set machines up for changeovers and new production runs.

Monitor machines as they are in production.

Troubleshoot quality issues.

Maintain cleanliness of work area.

Other mechanical tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
Strong mechanical ability and knowledge of working with hand tools.

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Electrical experience a plus, but not required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good math and computer skills.

Proven safety and attendance record.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Manufacturing experience a plus, but not required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.

Ability to work in compact or confined spaces.

Ability to climb up and down ladders.

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop and stretch regularly.

Ability to work around grease, oil, and solvents without adverse reaction.
