Fife and Tacoma License & Title are responsible for all aspects of vehicle and vessel licensing as a sub agent for the State of Washington Department of Licensing. We are hiring for full time & part time title clerk positions.

Full Time Title Clerk

Position summary:

You will work with various teammates/clients that require you to exercise your communication skills. This includes you to provide customer service in person, by telephone and/or online. You will interpret various laws, regulations, and policies to determine what documentation is required/necessary to complete vehicle and vessel titling/registration. Our team evaluates and collects appropriate fees/taxes through the Washington State Department of Licensing DRIVES system. Inventory auditing is conducted by every team member daily.

Qualifications:

• Clerical or administrative experience.
• Cash management or cashiering experience.
• Comfortable and knowledgeable with computers and computer programs like DRIVES.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Ability to successfully complete a Washington State Patrol background check.
• Title clerk experience at either car dealerships or another sub agency is a plus!
• High school graduate
• Must be able to work occasional Saturdays
• Bilingual (Spanish Language Highly Preferred)

Starting pay is dependent on level of experience could vary from $15.00 - $25.00 per hour. (See Below)

• Years of experience, if you have summitted your test to become qualified or certified by the state, Dealership experience, Data entry experience, Knowledge of licensing laws.
• We are not afraid to train someone at entry level status.

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our clerks as safe as possible we have barriers at each counter. Hand sanitizer, gloves, masks are available for all clerks! Consistently clean counters and all office supplies.
