Job description
Salary $60-$80K DOE.
We are a small fast-growing firm based in Bellevue, Washington. We provide financial services and business advisory to venture funded startups, growth businesses and high net worth individuals and families.
Reports To: Senior Accountant and Principal
Role Brief:
As an Accountant (we are looking to fill either a Staff or Senior role depending on experience and fit) you'll be a key member of the Bässler team providing CFO in a box, accounting, tax planning, cash management, payroll, business advisory, complex partnership management and financial planning strategy for our clients.
Your Specific Responsibilities Include:
· Ongoing management of multiple clients requiring in-depth communication to ensure excellent customer and financial service.
· Preparation and review of account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
· Preparing of recurring and ongoing posting of journal entries.
· AR/AP, Payroll, Account reconciliations
· Business Process Filings (B&O, Tax, etc.)
· Business reports and financial statement generation
· 1099 and W-2 preparation
· Support to outside auditors, tax preparers and legal teams.
· Compliance with all agencies: State, Local, Federal (Payroll, B&O Tax, State Tax etc..)[b1]
· Assisting with establishment of policies and guidelines to ensure proper enforcement of internal controls.
Qualifications Required:
· BA/BS in Accounting - CPA is a plus
· 3+ years of relevant professional experience
· Customer relationship management. Experience interacting in a client services environment, specifically with senior level management.
· Position has significant accounting component and requires a strong understanding of accounting and its application. GAAP, Tax and accrual-based accounting, etc.
· Strong organizational and project management skills - demonstrate ability to plan and manage projects independently along with ensuring high quality deliverables.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills, as the position involves the ability to satisfy client stakeholders, including executives and principals.
· You have critical attention to detail and are a strong analytical thinker.
· You are an organized detail-oriented problem solver capable of managing multiple priorities
· Experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools and experience with Excel advanced functions
· Proficiency with the necessary office and financial services software packages.
