Quality Assurance Supervisor - Centralia, WA

Responsibilities :

• Ensure conformance with Regulatory Requirements including FDA, ISDA, Organic Regulations and Food Safety.

• Function as Plant HACCP co-facilitator

• Maintain State certification of the Appendix N program.

• Maintain GFSI program preparedness.

• Able to work with different departments to ensure compliance with finished products releases and ingredient traceability.

• Audit plant verification documentation for compliance.

• Hold training classes on GMP's, Biosecurity, Cross-Contamination, HACCP, Allergens, Milk Receiving compliance testing, etc.

• Manage QA Lab, understand lab testing and procedures, Evaluate, trend and report lab data.

• Assist in troubleshooting of lab equipment's and coordinate maintenance.

• Manage QA Lab staff including evaluations, coaching, scheduling, training and development.

• Audit plant verification documentation.

• Provide oversight of lab proficiency evaluation program, budget and supplies management.

• Update and audit plant SOP Programs.

• Knowledgeable in GFCI, FDS, USDA, ISD, etc.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's in Food Science or Microbiology.

• 2+ years of experience in dairy control or sanitation.

• Previous experience in environmental compliance.

• Pervious held a position as a Supervisor or Process Leader.
