This role is within the Global Accounts (Financial) industry vertical, where WWT provides security guidance, services and solutions to the largest banking institutions in the world.
As an Executive Security Advisor, you will be partnering with the Sales team to provide the technical Pre-Sales work for our Enterprise customers within the Global Accounts team. No two days will be the same, as our broad offerings include Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategy among others.
Our Advanced Technology Center () changes the game for us in many ways. It enriches and transforms the way we interact with our customers in forms of ideation sessions, demos, POCs, workshops, training, briefings and more. In addition, the ATC is a world class environment which enables self-education as well as career growth.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical security solutions to our customers and internal organizations. The CSA acts as a key resource for engaging with strategic customer relationships while also collaborating with our customer's teams and internal teams to reach successful outcomes for our client's business objectives.
- You should be well acquainted with industry trends and the overall impact to WWT and our customer's business.
- You should be able to articulate how current security solutions are designed and deployed, and why they are failing.
- You will be part of a team responsible for changing what the security market and customers believe is possible with a next-generation security architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead client conversations centered around risk reduction, increased visibility, and the services and solutions we offer to help our customers stay one step ahead of attackers.
- Support the account team identify new security opportunities, from identification to development, and encourage adoption of the services and solutions WWT offers. This includes identifying customer problems, technical priorities, strategic initiatives that can be translated into new security opportunities.
- Provide consultant and technical assistance with customer proof-of-concept (POC) and customer proof-of-value (POV) scenarios.
- Perform technology demonstrations utilizing the WWT Advanced Technology Center with OEM partners key vendors and customers
- Contribute thought leadership content through the creation of written articles and case studies, audio and video content, and contributions to WWT's internal knowledge base.
- Develop and foster relationships with strategic OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and key partners who are relevant to the global financial community.
Qualifications:
- Experience leading security organizations or programs.
- Experience in the following technical security domains (two or more): Security Strategy, Segmentation (incl. Zero Trust and Micro-segmentation), Cloud Security, Zero Trust, Endpoint Security, Next Generation Firewall, Identity and Access Management Cyber Resilience and Compliance.
- Experience advising customers using popular security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls, MITRE ATT&CK framework, Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain® framework
- Experience in excess of five (5) years of solution-based selling in a pre-sales enterprise sales capacity focused on security services and solutions.
- Experience operating in a consulting capability in the areas of information security and/or IT cybersecurity risk management. This requires being engaged as a trusted advisor to proactively assess security challenges within an environment, identify pain points and recommendations on the best course of action.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills required for this role. Must be able to translate customer business requirements into relevant and meaningful security discussions. Ability to present complex technical concepts in a manner that can be easily understood by non-technical or semi-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team. This includes an affinity for WWT's Core Values: Trust, Humility, Embrace Change, Passion, Attitude, Team Player, and Honesty.
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, GCIA, GCIH, GSLC, GPEN, GCAW and any other related certifications are highly desired. These are preferred over vendor-specific certifications.
- College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or a related discipline and 5+ years of experience in cyber security (technical) or a related field.
- Travel requirement up to 50%
This role may require on-location work with WWT customers. Some customers may require WWT employees and contractors coming on-site to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and/or to receive frequent negative COVID-19 testing
