Community Transit is seeking a Human Resources Labor Relations Manager. The ideal candidate will translate the agency's strategic mission and goals into agency-wide human resources strategy to support the overall business plan and create a positive employee experience. Serves as a member of the Employee Engagement (Human Resources) leadership team and a strategic partner.

This position oversees various programs but principally serves as the Agency's chief labor negotiator. The position also manages other human resources programs including policy development, benefits administration, employee/labor relations, drug and alcohol and employee wellness. The position supervises management and administrative staff, works with legal advisers on regulatory responses, advises internal customers, and manages programs and projects, and compliance with policy, procedures, regulations, laws and EEO/affirmative action affected areas. The scope of responsibilities for this position includes overseeing broad, complex, and potentially sensitive issues and situations that may have substantial impact on the company.
