Join our Environment & Health department
As our new Environmental Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing state-of-the-art ambient monitoring skills to an international client base.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Installing, calibrating, auditing, and operating ambient air pollutant and meteorological monitoring systems and equipment;
- Analyzing and ensuring the quality of data collected by sensors and samplers;
- Designing ambient monitoring stations according to scientific and regulatory requirements to achieve client goals;
- Authoring reports to communicate data and analysis results to clients and regulators;
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or PhD in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, or other relevant field is required
- 2 to 5 years of experience is desired
- Experience with ambient air pollutant and/or meteorological parameter sampling equipment is desired.
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:
- Strong analytical and mechanical abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical persons
- Experience with PC-based and network applications, software, and/or programming languages such as Fortran and Python
- Willingness to travel and work in the field, occasionally in less than ideal conditions (summer and winter) and/or outside traditional business hours
- Mechanical aptitude to build and fabricate monitoring system structures, assemble equipment, and integrate, program, and test communication systems
