Join our Environment & Health department

As our new Environmental Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing state-of-the-art ambient monitoring skills to an international client base.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Installing, calibrating, auditing, and operating ambient air pollutant and meteorological monitoring systems and equipment;
• Analyzing and ensuring the quality of data collected by sensors and samplers;
• Designing ambient monitoring stations according to scientific and regulatory requirements to achieve client goals;
• Authoring reports to communicate data and analysis results to clients and regulators;
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or PhD in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, or other relevant field is required
• 2 to 5 years of experience is desired
• Experience with ambient air pollutant and/or meteorological parameter sampling equipment is desired.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:

• Strong analytical and mechanical abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical persons
• Experience with PC-based and network applications, software, and/or programming languages such as Fortran and Python
• Willingness to travel and work in the field, occasionally in less than ideal conditions (summer and winter) and/or outside traditional business hours

• Mechanical aptitude to build and fabricate monitoring system structures, assemble equipment, and integrate, program, and test communication systems
