Salary: $20.00/hr

Express is partnering with a local non-profit to help coordinate the vaccination efforts in the county. We are seeking 1 On-Site Non-Clinical Project Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to do work that helps the local community. This will be a temporary position expected to last several months. The schedule will change based on the events, but you could be working 10 to 12-hour days. This will be outdoor work, on site at the vaccination events, coordinating all of the volunteers and making sure things run smoothly. The compensation for this position will be $20/hr.

Job Duties:

• Serve as non-clinical volunteer leader and primary point of contact and ensure smooth operation of volunteer tasks
• Ensure high-quality volunteer experience by supporting volunteers before, during, and after their shift.
• Manage volunteer schedules and plan ahead for upcoming vaccination site
• Greet, check in, and train vaccination site volunteers
• Answer questions and maintain positive presence for volunteers to contact for help
• Clearly communicate volunteer expectations and directions prior to, during, and after volunteer shifts

Qualifications:

• Ability to lead groups of individuals from a diverse array of backgrounds and cultures, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, focusing on the ability to communicate complex information in a way that is clear and easily understood, both verbal and written
• Effective at teaching and training others to do tasks
• Ability to manage fast-moving, rapidly changing environments
• Creative problem-solver, able to think quickly, and apply efficient solutions as needed to support the ongoing goals of the program
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan ahead of time
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as an on-call position

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience with leading and managing people
• Must have administrative experience and proven attention to detail in a recent job
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors at the vaccination sites.
• Must have ability to travel in personal vehicle to vaccination sites around the county
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs for equipment, supplies or materials
• 90% of the work will be done on site and 10% done at a desk using the computer.
