Description A company in the Puyallup, Washington area is looking to fill an entry-level Financial Analyst role with an adjustable and motivated industry professional. We are looking for someone that could start immediately. Are you an achievement-oriented critical thinker with an excitement for analysis? In such a case, this is a great Financial Analyst position for you. In this role, you will provide daily support to the accounting and finance departments as well as perform routine assignments and solve routine/standard problems with limited discretion. The Financial Analyst role demands a flexible individual comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations. What you get to do every single day

- Participate in many aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)

- Team up on annual budgeting process

- Offer support in the organization of monthly financial reporting and other business data

- Solidify and inspect budgets and income statement forecasts

- Study veritable results at the corporate and division levels

- Cooperate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits

- Might have to demonstrate intricate financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects

- Analyze and query a considerable amounts of data

- Help out with monitoring and maintaining internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

- Contribute to ensuring adequate controls and procedures

- Devise unique alternatives and solutions to reduce costs and elevate financial performance of a company Requirements - Less than one year of experience

- Command of pricing analysis

- Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel

- Contract administration experience highly desired

- Cost analysis experience

- Adeptness in Market Pricing

- Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Pricing

- Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Substantial computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
