HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST - CORPORATE
The Human Resource Specialist position will support HR functions for a high-performing organization and reports to the Manager of Human Resources Compliance. This role will aid and facilitate human resource process at all business locations. The HR Specialist maintains consistent achievement of customer service standards and the promotion of McGee Air Services core values .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding documents and conversations involving team member and human resource matters, and all company confidential information
- Oversee administrative process for unemployment claims for each station to include reviewing and responding to correspondence
- Maintain a variety of logs, records, and files; compile information from a variety of sources and prepare summaries and reports
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions generated from general company email correspondence
- Maintain tracking and notifications for employee referral bonuses program
- Support administrative duties for the travel privilege program
- Assist with timely and thorough investigations into reported travel privilege violations
- Enter data into various HR systems, worksheets, and databases; maintain records and compile reports from systems, as needed
- Assist in monthly and quarterly audits to ensure compliance with employee records
- Create forms, compose correspondence, prepare reports, and draft other communications as needed
- Provide administrative support for recruitment-related activities as needed
- Support time & attendance reliability accountability and reliability efforts including preparation of documents related to coaching and discipline

- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, communication, human resources, or related discipline preferred
- Two (2) years of Human Resources experience specializing in recruitment, leaves & accommodation, employee relations and/or labor relations or equivalent required
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and database maintenance required
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedures, including collective bargaining provisions required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to think and write analytically required
- Strong organization and time management skills, and ability to maintain thorough and accurate records while meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to effectively problem-solve and determine win-win solutions
- Ability to work independently with high initiative and flexibility
- Positive, team-oriented and adaptable to dynamic environment with flexibility to assist with special projects during high demand and based on operational needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance(s) as required
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
