Recruitment Specialist - Programs Temporary Full-Time
Up to six months assignment
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as a Recruitment Specialist - Programs. This role has primary responsibility for booking travel, scheduling training and other administrative duties associated with Ramp Service Agents in the Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) Program. In addition, this position will provide assistance with pre-employment and onboarding process of new team members on an as needed basis. This role is key in providing applicants with a positive introduction to the McGee organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Book travel, coordinate hotel reservations and schedule training for new Ramp Agents participating in the Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) program
- Enter data into various Human Resources systems, worksheets and databases, maintain records and compile reports from systems as needed
- Collaborate and communicate with airport operational partners as well as team members to ensure all parties are well informed
- Act as the point of contact for questions from team members; providing timely, accurate information through various communication sources
- Launch and/or conduct and track status of reference checks, background checks, and facilitate all required pre-employment screening on an as needed basis
- Oversee companywide employee onboarding process, including verification of documentation for security clearances, ensuring pre-employment requirements are met
- Provide assistance with phone screening and interviewing candidates on as needed basis
- Provide assistance to Human Resource team with Affirmative Action and EEO requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of applicant and team member information as well as company data

- Other duties and projects as requested
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- One year of Human Resources experience with focus on Recruitment required
- Previous experience with Human Resources Information System or Applicant Tracking System required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish positive, professional rapport with applicants required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and online research tools required
- Hands on experience with conducting phone screenings, interviews and onboarding highly preferred
- Ability to quickly learn different systems to enter and validate data
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment
- Team-oriented and flexible in approach to change and type of work assigned
- Passion for customer service and high expectations for quality and accuracy
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
