Our account executive team is responsible for achieving sales goals for Hearst Seattle Media and our clients by leveraging a diverse and expanding online platform of solutions. US online ad spend grew 20% to $59.6 Billion in 2015. This continued growth positions Hearst Seattle Media and the right candidate at the forefront of helping businesses find success online. Our product line continues to grow and differentiate providing our team with tremendous sales opportunities and our clients with compelling and expanding marketing solutions.
Essential Functions:

  • Attain assigned sales and performance goals
  • Identify appropriate prospects and conduct outreach to secure meetings
  • Research client marketing efforts, fact finding to understand a clients business
  • Create proposals and close new sales
  • Coordinate cross-functionally on fulfillment and campaign optimization
  • Provide service after the sale to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
  • Develop client relationships, secure renewals, and identify and close up-sell opportunities
  • Maintain CRM systems and required forecasting and internal processes

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of local advertising sales experience
  • Demonstrated performance in achievement of sales objectives and leading customer service results
  • Demonstrated success in new business procurement and development of sustainable client base
  • Exceptional prospecting, consultative sales, and presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and articulate value proposition of multiple product solutions
  • Able to effectively manage projects cross-functionally
  • Technologically adept and proficient with using the MS Office suite of products and CRM (SalesForce.com).

Competitive compensation package includes base salary, commissions, performance bonuses, expenses, benefits, and matching 401K plan.
