Job summary
Are you passionate about using data to power third party vendor engagement and optimize partnerships? The AWS Talent Acquisition (TA) Technology Team is looking for a smart, driven, problem solver to provide support for analyzing people and operational metrics.
The TA Tech team works backwards from the needs of the recruiting team and our outsourcing partners to implement and optimize technology, influence underlying process, and manage relationship metrics.

In this role, you will develop deep expertise with the tools, processes, and policies for TA at AWS. You will work with business owners, technologists, and recruiting partners to understand and document strategy, requirements, and timelines. You will participate in cross-functional teams through the process and policy design, delivery, implementation, and support of third party outsourcing services.

The successful candidate will be a customer-obsessed self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize work.

Key job responsibilities
Reporting - Own the development and maintenance of new and existing artifacts focused on analysis of requirements, metrics, and reporting dashboards.

Analytical Studies - Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.

Experience Design - Collaborate with experience designers and participate in strategic planning discussions

Business Requirements - Facilitate global workshops to coordinate the collection of global business requirements including process deviations and localizations; prepare global process maps and documentation

Implementation - Support the rollout of new tools and systems to global teams including delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, training materials and post-launch support resources

Operational Excellence - Drive global TA process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate localization

The AWS TA Tech & Process Strategy team is an enablement partner with the AWS Talent Acquisition business, using the pillars of process and technology to help the team hire tens of thousands of AWS builders every year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experienced developing requirements and creating requirements documents and process flows
5+ years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role
5+ years of experience conducting analysis and data mining
Proficient extracting and processing data using SQL
Experience in data visualization platforms

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent communication (verbal, written, and data presentation) skills for interactions with both business and technical teams
Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with AWS Quicksight
6+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role
Experience implementing processes and providing support for core HR solutions
Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
Experience with Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) databases - Redshift, Teradata etc
Able to learn large scale complex systems quickly
Meets/Exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
