COMMERCIAL LOAN CLOSER - SEATTLE LOCATION

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Commercial Loan Closer coordinates the activities associated with processing loans within assigned business units, to include regulatory compliance. Provides guidance to management regarding matters of significance involving title and escrow anomalies. Recommends solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE:

· Experienced in real estate financing contracts

· Experienced in escrow, title, and loan documentation

· Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage time

· Does not require micro-management and excels in a process-driven environment

· Can multi-task at a very high level and deliver on multiple deadlines

· Strategic and analytical in nature

· Knowledge and experience processing commercial real estate loans in Washington, Oregon & Idaho

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Financial Institution software preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

§ Provides expert advice based on education and experience on challenging matters during the loan process

§ Ability to handle unusual circumstances to alleviate obstacles and proceed with timely loan signing and recording of title/deed

§ Gather closing documentation, review for accuracy and submit for final approval

§ Capable to work under high pressure and reach deadlines

§ Review documents for accuracy, and thorough understanding of internal policies of Broadmark Realty Capital Management

§ Compiling loan underwriting files for the Loan Investment Committee

§ Detail oriented, organized

§ Team leader and team player

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree is required. 5-7 years of real estate title and escrow, or real estate paralegal experience in a law firm, or corporate level department with a focus on commercial and residential real estate closings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
