An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior role with Kaspars Catering & Events as a Director of Sales.

We are really growing and looking to bring on some great team members to join at this exciting time! We are interviewing for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, customer service driven person to join our creative Team. Our 'home base' is in Magnolia and we work "off premise" at exclusive venues, event locations, businesses and homes in the Seattle area. We offer a family team atmosphere, with a full-time team of about 20 including chefs, event planners, operation managers and others. We specialize in high quality, fresh, local, made from scratch cuisine. We prepare all menu items (including breads and desserts) on premise.

You will be working directly with and leading our team of Sales Coordinators. This position takes patience, teamwork, attention to details and overall a great smile.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of Sales Coordinators
  • Develop and implement ideas for department and company growth
  • Client contact for inquires, proposals, inititial planning & payments.
  • Reserve rentals, flowers and plan décor as needed.
  • Ensure all billing is accurate and thank you letters are sent out in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to weekly banquet meetings, and ensure event sheets are completed as far as possible and ready to discuss with other departments.
  • Know our planning software; including, proposals, invoicing and menu procedures
  • Review and assist with coverage in all departments
  • Event contact/supervision for events (ie: large (100+), VIP, very detailed events, and weddings)
  • Assist accounting in follow up if needed for outstanding invoices to ensure they are paid ASAP.

Compensation depends on experience and includes, a competitive wage, parking, meals, a simple IRA, health plan, tuition reimbursement and performance based bonuses.
