Job description

Mission:

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for assisting the sales team to increase sales through lead generation and lead qualification with new and existing businesses. The position will report to the VP of Sales (DIS).

Outcomes:

  • Lead generation with new business prospects
  • Work with current prospect lists and build new customer prospect lists to develop and cultivate sales leads
  • Follow up with all leads generated by DIS marketing and further qualify them
  • Provide increased volume of qualified new business leads to sales team on an ongoing basis

  • * Lead Generation with Existing businesses
  • Contact all existing customers who have not been contacted by the sales team in the past quarter
  • Provide leads for upsells and add-ons from existing customers to sales team
  • Grow existing customer pipeline on an ongoing basis

  • * Learn and thoroughly understand DIS products, initiatives, campaigns and additional assigned projects for lead generation and qualification

  • * Increase quantity and quantity of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to sales team
  • Meet/exceed monthly targets for SQLs
  • Track and manage all leads through close utilizing Salesforce CRM

  • * Full Compliance with all sales reporting and sales activity and productivity metrics

Competencies:

  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Salesforce CRM: Prior experience as a Salesforce CRM user preferred
  • Organization: Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and proactively manage accounts, prospects, customers, products and provide details pertaining to the leads and opportunities to the proper assigned representative/territory owner
  • Work Ethic: Works proactively, persistently, efficiently and is self-directed
  • Collaboration: Ability to work as an effective collaborator and team player

Relevant Experience:

  • College Degree preferred
  • Prior experience in lead acquisition and development in a sales environment
  • Proven

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay

  • Seattle, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
