RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's Seattle, WA based healthcare client is actively looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract to hire position.

Overview:
This company is located in downtown Seattle. Although the expectation is 100% remote, this candidate can be located in any state in the US, as long as they are willing to work PST. No one yet in the organization is working on site. Ultimately, this role is 6 month contract to hire with the targeted salary between $90K and $110K.

Summary:
In this role, the Senior Business Analyst will act as a liaison between vendors, business units, project management and the IT developers supporting projects, data management, reporting solutions, and application development. This role requires great people, analysis skills, and project management skills. Project Management skills/experience is needed for about 25% of the job, analyzing the tickets is about 25%, and the other 50% is further gathering requirements or clarification on the tickets and working with the vendor or customer on getting/giving the correct data to them. All of the BAs on the Data warehouse team need to work with vendors/customers/business people on a regular basis and also have the ability to lead a project, process, discussion, interview, and problem solving, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in CS or MIT, or something similar
* 5-7 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in the Health Plan, Healthcare Payer, or MCO
* Experience leading small projects and Project Management skills (with reporting and communication) is ccritical - 25% of this job
* Basic understanding of data warehousing techniques is required
* Basic SQL skills are required for understanding of data and data warehouse, such as data profiling, data mapping, data research, and troubleshooting
* Understanding SSIS (what SSIS is and how it works) is needed
* Understanding and experience with the best practices of business analysis
