Description
The HRBP will provide guidance to Trident leaders and managers on HR programs, policies and processes.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a trusted advisor to Tridents leaders to: understand the needs, goals, and challenges of their teams/functions and provide perspective on how to successfully align people and business strategies, implement solutions, and improve organizational effectiveness.
* Build manager capability by coaching managers through challenging employee and organizational issues.
* Partner with business leaders to encourage innovation and continuous improvement in all people related issues.
* Partner with business leaders to ensure viable succession plans are in place for all key positions.
* Engage in difficult conversations, giving and receiving constructive feedback with professionalism and candor
* Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
* Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
* Facilitate actions to resolve employee relations issues; escalate as appropriate.
* Review employee complaints and ensure accurate and timely documentation of issues.
* Partner with Compensation to review internal equity and market rate analysis for assigned requisitions
* Adeptly balance business needs, goals, and values with employee advocacy.
* Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, adapt to change, and flex when needed to pitch in on the day-to-day
Additional Responsibilities:
* Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
* Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings
* Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 5+ years of experience in Human Resources; with a minimum of 3 years supporting employee relations
* Experience working in multi-cultural environment
Preferred:
* Human Resources Certification (CP, SHRM)
* Knowledge of HRIS, Applicant Tracking systems
* Knowledge of OFCCP requirements
