Responsibilities
* Assist with all compliance initiatives and projects.
* Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Support the People & Culture business partners with various programs including the performance appraisal process, talent management and engagement.
* Help with complex team member relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
* Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
* Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
* HRIS data entry of new hires, promotions, compensation changes, supervisor changes, transfers and terminations into third-party system. Ensure all team member data changes are entered quickly and accurately and appropriate internal departments are notified as necessary.
* Create memos documenting promotions, title changes, and compensation changes.
* Respond to team member questions promptly and escalate inquiries as needed.
* Handle team member requests and provide support.
* Generate and disseminate reports for various departments as needed.
* Help HR management drive programs and initiatives to cultivate the desired culture throughout the organization. Consult with management and provide HR guidance when appropriate.
Qualifications
* 5+ years' of generalist experience in Human Resources including team member relations, recruitment, training and development, compensation, and benefits programs, as well as application of legal and government compliance guidelines
* Knowledgeable on Federal, State and local laws, including Title VII, Wage & Hour, and Leave of Absence regulations.
* Excellent people skills with a focus on solutions and ability to partner with multiple, diverse stakeholders including C-suite.
* Self-motivated with the ability to be flexible in fast-paced, changing environments.
* Collaborative open approach to work and team members.
* Ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes.
