The Brent lab is seeking an individual to catalog and organize 45 years of scientific documents. This is a temporary part time position with flexible work hours that is expected to last from about three to six months. Such documents including (but are not limited to) scientific manuscripts, communications, emails and written correspondence. They would further be responsible for converting most printed manuscripts and correspondence from hard copy to electronic/ digital form. Mixed among these documents would be reprints of publications that could be recaptured discarded and stored in wholly in electronic/ digital form. The ideal candidate would be highly able to understand and organize a massive amount of written material, and might well possess an undergraduate degree in Science and Technology Studies, Library Science, or anthropology.
Salary commensurate with level of relevant education/ relevant experience.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be able to read and comprehend complex scientific articles and professional correspondence.
* Strong proficiency in the English language.
* Flexibility and able to work independently without supervision.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Have strong organizational capabilities and works meticulously.
* Computer skills using programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word.
* Ideally possess a degree in Science and Technology Studies, Library Science, Bioanthropology, or related fields.
